Description
Demmeler Ergonomix M4000 Welding Positioner
Demmeler Ergonomix M4000 Welding Positioner
The Ergonomix M4000 brings the workpiece to the welder — lifting, tilting and rotating heavy workpieces into the ideal welding position, so the work comes to the operator instead of the operator having to work around it.
The case for the manual welder
A welder working on a difficult component welds vertically, overhead or at a reach. Every such position is slower, more tiring, lower in quality, and a separate procedure to qualify. The Ergonomix lets him weld in the flat position instead: faster, safer, more consistent, with fewer WPS and WPQR. In defense and shipbuilding fabrication, where workpieces are heavy and procedures must be qualified, this is the difference between a repeatable standard and a welder doing his best in a poor position.
Part of a system
The Ergonomix is not a standalone machine — it is one component of the Demmeler
positioning family: 3D tables, clamping fixtures, rotation units and
cobot cells that work together. You are not buying a positioner — you are building a cell.
Key points
- Lifts, tilts and rotates heavy workpieces into the ideal position
- Enables flat-position welding — faster, safer, more consistent
- Fewer welding positions — simplified WPS
- Ergonomic working height adjusted to the welder
- Integrates into the wider Demmeler system
Integration and support
Supplied, installed and supported by Roussakis Supplies, with integration into EWM power sources and XNET Welding 4.0 where per-seam traceability is required.

Demmeler
Demmeler is German-engineered welding automation built as a system: 3D modular welding tables, clamping components, welding manipulators, robot turning units and cobot cells that work together — not as separate machines, but as one repeatable, documented fabrication environment. Why Demmeler for certified and defence fabrication
The difference between Demmeler and a standalone positioner is the word "system". A Demmeler fixture, built from indexed components on a precision 3D table, sets up identically every shift. A Demmeler turning unit integrates as an external robot axis via PROFINET, so the part and the welding robot move as one. A Demmeler cobot cell automates the repeat welds that never justified a full line. For defence, naval and classification-supervised production — where every weldment must be qualifiable, repeatable and documented — that repeatability is not a convenience. It is the requirement.Integrated, supported, local
Roussakis Supplies integrates Demmeler handling with EWM welding sources and the EWM XNET Welding 4.0 platform for weld-by-weld traceability. We deliver, commission and support locally, with in-house know-how for large turnkey welding and positioner projects. Discuss your application: +30 210 5582077 | info@roussakis.com.gr
