SIDEROS HEAD & TAILSTOCK WELDING POSITIONER SyncroLift®
SyncroLift® is a head and tailstock welding positioner with synchronised elevation on both columns. The weldment is supported at each end, rotated about its axis, and raised or lowered to the welder’s working height — without the overhang and counterweight limits of a single-table positioner.
Where it earns its place
Long, slender or asymmetric weldments are the hardest cases in heavy fabrication: vehicle chassis and axle structures, naval piping spools and sections, masts, booms, pressure components. A single-table positioner either cannot take the overhang or takes it at the cost of stability. Two synchronised
columns solve the geometry.
For defence and naval work the operational argument is the same as any positioner — downhand welding, fewer welding positions, fewer WPS and WPQR — but SyncroLift extends that argument to the parts a table positioner cannot hold.
