ESAB EPR-X1.1 — Powered Air Purifying Respirator for Savage & Sentinel Helmets

✘ Helmet not included. The unit comes with the blower, P3 filter and
pre-filter, breathing tube, lithium battery, charger and waist belt. It requires an ESAB
“prepared for air” helmet — for example the
Savage A41 Air, part no. 0700504102.

Welding fume is classified by the World Health Organization as carcinogenic to humans. The EPR-X1.1 is
ESAB’s answer: a powered respirator that draws in workshop air, passes it through a HEPA-quality filter and
delivers it clean inside the helmet, holding a slight positive pressure so contaminated air cannot leak in
around the edges.

It is built for everything from occasional use to full-time industrial work. The compact, rugged housing
holds a powerful blower with three selectable airflow speeds. Status LEDs show battery, fan speed and filter
condition at a glance, and the unit warns you with sound and vibration when airflow drops — meaning
the filter needs changing — or when the battery runs low. In a noisy workshop, the vibration is the one
you will notice.
