Thermal protective aids are used to keep persons in distress warm while in a lifeboat or life raft, and are designed for comfortable wear. The products have been certified and inspected by DNV-GL and meet the requirements of the SOLAS Convention and the IMO standard.
The thermal protective aids comply with SOLAS 74 as amended, Reg. III/4, 22, 32 and 34, X/3, LSA Code I, II, 1994 and 2000 HSC Code Chapter 8, IMO MSC.81(70) as amended.
