CAMON Water Finding Paste has a gold-brown color and turns bright red on contact with water. It successfully measures water content in all oils and hydrocarbons, as well as in sulfuric acid, nitric acid, hydrochloric ammonia, soap solutions, salt and other chlorine solutions.
Easy test for water in a fuel tank by spreading a thin film on a dip stick or other calibrated rod. This modified version is specifically designed for use with fuels enriched with Methanol and Ethanol; the water level indication in your tank will not damage or alter the composition of gasoline, kerosene or any other fuel. The paste is made entirely of non-hazardous materials and is easily cleaned after use. CAMON Water Finding Paste, also known as Water Gauging Paste, is used to check for the presence of water at the bottom of oil, diesel, gasoline, fuel oil and kerosene tanks. The brown paste is applied to a weighted cord or rod and lowered to the bottom of the tank. The section of the paste that touches the water will immediately turn a bright red on contact, and once the rod is withdrawn, you can determine the depth of the water from the section of paste that has changed color.
