TURBO-FIX & GO MOUNTING AND ASSEMBLY ADHESIVE is a high-quality, one-component bonding and sealing material.

It offers elasticity and can be painted over. It is manufactured on an MS polymer base.

It is used for elastic bonding, sealing and waterproofing on smooth and uneven surfaces, aluminium and metal structures, atriums and canopies, polycarbonate constructions in steel fabrication, air conditioning and refrigeration installations, vehicle, wagon and container construction and repair, shipbuilding and marine constructions, shipyards, electrical and plumbing installations and sanitary ware, woodworking, as well as all types of construction work.

SPECIFICATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS

Characteristics – Properties: Contains no silicone, acrylic, solvents, P.V.C. or isocyanates. The curing time of TURBO-FIX & GO adhesive depends on joint thickness, ambient humidity and temperature. (Application temperature is +5°C to +30°C). The elastic bond and seal created effortlessly absorbs shocks, oscillations and vibrations.

Once cured, the adhesive mass exhibits the following resistance:

Good* resistance to water, aliphatic solvents, diluted inorganic acids and salts, oils and greases.

Less good* resistance to aromatic solvents, concentrated acids, chlorinated hydrocarbons.

It offers long-term resistance to ageing, corrosion and rot, without developing fungus or bacteria.

Withstands temperatures from –30^oC to +90^oC (up to +200°C for short periods).

Painting should be carried out before the adhesive has cured.

Application instructions: Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of dust, oils and grease. Sand the surfaces with sandpaper to increase adhesive bonding capacity. TURBO-FIX & GO adhesive is applied using a (gun-type) applicator. Cut the cartridge above the thread, screw on the nozzle tip and, depending on the joint dimensions, cut it at an angle.
