SpazioMatic stores sheet metal vertically and retrieves it automatically. The floor stack becomes a tower; the search becomes a selection.
Three arguments
Floor space: A horizontal plate stack occupies the most expensive square metres in the building — the ones next to the cutting machine. Vertical storage gives that area back.
Retrieval: Finding one specific plate in a horizontal stack means moving every plate above it. That is crane time, handling risk and plate damage, every time. SpazioMatic retrieves the plate you asked for.
Traceability: This is the one that matters for defence. If your supply chain requires plate to be identified by heat number and certificate, a stack on the floor is a paper exercise with a physical contradiction — the plate you actually took is the one on top, not the one on the certificate. Structured, indexed, automated storage means the plate identity in the system is the plate that went to the machine. That is a record that survives an audit.
