LoadMaster loads and unloads sheet metal to and from the cutting machine automatically. No crane, no slings, no two people manhandling a plate onto a bed.
The case in heavy and armour plate fabrication
Armour and high-strength plate is heavy, stiff and unforgiving. Every manual or crane-assisted load is a manual handling event, a rigging operation, a scratched surface and a stopped machine. Multiply that by every sheet in a programme and the loading operation — not the cutting — becomes the constraint on the cell.
Automatic loading turns the cutting machine from a machine that waits into a machine that runs. It also removes a whole class of manual handling injuries and crane-related near-misses from your safety record.
Traceability
Where plate must be tracked by heat number through a defence supply chain, controlled automated loading is what makes that record credible — you know which plate went onto which bed, when.
