Footwear is designed to work on electrical devices with a voltage of up to 20 kV as an additional protective equipment, in order to protect the user against the flow of dangerous electric current through the human body, through the feet.
This footwear reduces the risk of electric shock. It should be used applied over footwear used at work. Electro-insulating rubber shoes are an individual protection product of category III that meets the requirements of Directive 89/686/EWG. This footwear also meets the requirements KOW/S-01/2015 “Insulating footwear for work at voltages above 1 kV of alternating voltage” (developed by the Central Institute for Labor Protection
