These boots are designed for use on electrical equipment with voltage up to 5 kV as additional protective equipment, protecting the user from the flow of hazardous electric current through the human body via the feet.

This footwear reduces the risk of electric shock. It should be worn over the footwear used at work. The electrically insulating rubber boots are a Category III personal protective product that meets the requirements of Directive 89/686/EWG. This footwear also meets the requirements of KOW/S-01/2015 “Insulating footwear for work at voltages above 1 kV AC” (developed by the Central Institute for Labour Protection).
