These boots are designed to be used with electrical devices up to 20 kV as additional protective equipment, to protect the user from the flow of hazardous electric current passing through the human body via the feet.

This footwear reduces the risk of electric shock. It should be worn over the footwear used at work. Electrically insulating rubber footwear is a Category III personal protective product that meets the requirements of Directive 89/686/EWG. This footwear also meets the requirements of KOW/S-01/2015 “Insulating footwear for work at voltages above 1 kV AC” (developed by the Central Institute for Labour Protection).
