With air bags it is easy to avoid damage that can occur during transport in containers, rail wagons and on ships. A bag is made of an airtight polyethylene liner equipped with an air valve and an outer layer of heavy-duty paper or polypropylene. Safe transport is achieved when a correctly sized air bag, correctly positioned in the cargo space, is inflated with air. The bag then prevents the load from moving on the cargo carrier and absorbs shocks. Placing and inflating the air bags is very quick, reducing the work effort during loading and unloading to a minimum, which saves a lot of time. Since the valve can be opened or closed again, the air bag can also be reused.
