OK Autrod 309MoL, a high-alloy austenitic welding wire with a diameter of 1.2 mm in 15 kg packaging, is designed for welding pearlitic structural steels to acid-resistant austenitic Mo-alloyed steels such as ASTM 316L and for depositing transition layers on two-layer clad steels (18% Cr-12% Ni-2.8% Mo). Molybdenum in the weld prevents depletion of the first layer of corrosion-resistant deposition. Ferrite phase: ~8%.
