Sonis® Comms is a powerful communication tool, providing team intercom and active hearing protection for safe teamwork in high-noise environments. Embedded DMC® (Dynamic Mesh Communication) technology creates a self-contained private network for seamless team communication.

The headsets are user-friendly and intuitive to use via ergonomic buttons on the earcups, hands-free technology, the desktop configuration tool and the JSP Comms mobile app. Sonis® Comms combines the comfort and design features established in the development of the Sonis® range with cutting-edge wireless technology to offer ultimate protection and unlimited connectivity.

The integrated Sonis® Comms team communication creates a self-contained, private network, allowing up to 15 team members to stay connected across large sites, without WiFi or mobile internet.

DMC® TECHNOLOGY – Sonis® Comms uses DMC® (Dynamic Mesh Communication) technology powered by Cardo to create a wireless mesh intercom system. The dynamic network allows teams to move freely and lets team members leave and rejoin the network without interrupting the team’s connection.

100% SELF-CONTAINED NETWORK – The self-contained intercom system enables effective team communication in remote locations without internet or mobile coverage.

FULL DUPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM – The full duplex system allows all users to speak without waiting for transmissions to finish, ensuring no messages are lost or interrupted.

STRENGTH IN NUMBERS – Each Sonis® Comms headset transmits a signal, acting as a mini base station, to strengthen the team connection with every member added.

MID-RANGE CONNECTIVITY – Teams can communicate over a range of up to 3 km. Users can travel up to 800 metres from another headset and maintain the connection.

OUT-OF-RANGE ALERT – Sonis® Comms alerts the user when the connection to the team network is lost and reconnects automatically once back in range.

EMERGENCY ALERTS – Emergency alerts allow users to contact their colleagues for help hands-free from the Sonis® Comms headsets.

MULTI-CHANNEL COMMUNICATION – Teams can use separate channels, allowing multiple teams to work and communicate independently at the same site.

SELF-MONITORING – Audio feedback allows the user to hear their own speech over ambient noise, for confidence in voice communications.

MOBILE EXTENSION – With the mobile extension capability, two remote teams can connect to a shared network, creating an intercom system for up to 30 users.
