Description
Acetylene for industrial/marine use, colourless gas lighter than air, non-toxic but highly flammable. Mixed with oxygen for welding, flame temperature reaches approx. 3100°C. Explosive in air at 2.2%–85% concentration. Cylinders transported horizontally require at least 24 hours upright rest before use. Supplied in exchange cylinders with barcode/serial number, compatible with AC-OX systems. Designed as part of the RS Marine Gas Distribution System AC/OX, meeting RightShip RISQ 3.2 and OCIMF requirements for marine gas distribution systems. Marine type.
