A synchronized operator pair for lifting and rotating heavy workpieces, with a total capacity of 40,000 kg, designed to integrate as an additional robot axis in automated welding cells.<\/p>\n

What it does<\/h4>\n

The unit holds a heavy workpiece between two synchronized heads, lifting and rotating it \u2014 bringing every weld seam into the optimal position. Integrated as an external axis via PROFINET, its motion is coordinated with the robot’s axes: the workpiece rotates while the robot follows the seam, in a single continuous motion.<\/p>\n

Why it matters in defense and shipbuilding fabrication<\/h4>\n

Heavy workpieces \u2014 armored hull sections, turret substructures, shipbuilding bases \u2014 are where position determines everything. Weld them fixed in place, and the robot works in compromised positions. Put them on a synchronized unit, and every seam is presented in the flat position \u2014 the position for which the procedure was qualified. Consistent position = consistent, repeatable, qualifiable quality.<\/p>\n
