\npre-filter, breathing tube, lithium battery, charger and waist belt. It requires an ESAB
\n“prepared for air” helmet \u2014 for example the
\nSavage A41 Air, part no. 0700504102<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Welding fume is classified by the World Health Organization as carcinogenic to humans. The EPR-X1.1 is
\nESAB’s answer: a powered respirator that draws in workshop air, passes it through a HEPA-quality filter and
\ndelivers it clean inside the helmet, holding a slight positive pressure so contaminated air cannot leak in
\naround the edges.<\/p>\n

It is built for everything from occasional use to full-time industrial work. The compact, rugged housing
\nholds a powerful blower with three selectable airflow speeds. Status LEDs show battery, fan speed and filter
\ncondition at a glance, and the unit warns you with sound and<\/em> vibration when airflow drops \u2014 meaning
\nthe filter needs changing \u2014 or when the battery runs low. In a noisy workshop, the vibration is the one
\nyou will notice.<\/p>\n
